Day 01 Marrakech – Ait Ben-Haddou –Anti-Atlas Mountains – Draa valley - Zagora desert

After crossing the High Atlas Mountains and visiting Ait Ben Haddou, you will continue through the scenic Draa Valley toward Zagora. Upon arrival, you will start your desert experience with a camel trek into the dunes, an essential part of Marrakech desert tours, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in a desert camp.

Day 02 Zagora desert - Ouarzazate - Marrakech.

The next morning you will want to wake up early to enjoy the magical sunrise among the sand dunes followed by breakfast. After breakfast, you will have a 20 minute camel ride back to meet your driver for the return trip to Marrakech. We will drive back along the Draa Valley and through the Anti-Atlas mountains to Ouarzazete. Here, we will visit the Atlas Film studio (Lawrence of Arabia, Patton, The Jewel of the Nile, The Living Daylights, The Mummy, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, etc.) and then take a short (5 minute) drive to the Kasbah of Taourirt, the most impressive fortification in Morocco. Our day’s journey will end with your return to your riad in Marrakech.
